HOW IT WORKS

Building a tech startup takes more than just an idea – it demands entrepreneurial skills, real-world experience, and the right guidance. The TechWings Africa Program equips ambitious tech professionals with the tools to thrive: learning what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur, testing and growing ideas into real startups, gaining hands-on experience inside fast-growing companies, and building a powerful network of mentors, peers, and partners across Africa.

Build Now Track: Launch Your Startup

This track is for the elite, ready-to-launch tech professional who has a strong, validated idea and is committed to turning it into a registered business now.

Duration: 5 Months of intensive, outcome-driven venture support (starting after a 1-week launch Bootcamp).

1-Week Launch Bootcamp offers a rapid half-day program focusing on essential soft skills and immediately applicable startup fundamentals.
Dedicated StartHub Coaching provides bi-weekly deep dives with a professional coach to hold you accountable troubleshoot challenges and accelerate growth.
Access to VC Investors/Founders ensures you receive hands-on mentorship from seasoned VC4A-affiliated investors and founders focused on scaling and securing funding.

Outcomes: You will launch a registered, revenue-generating early-stage startup and become a founder contributing to job creation in the African tech ecosystem. (Application Deadline: November 30th)

Future Founders Track: Prepare for Launch

Designed for the ambitious tech professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset who needs a structured path to develop, validate, and plan their future venture idea.

Duration: 1 Month of focused training, followed by 5 Months of personalized career and entrepreneurial mentorship.

1-Month Intensive Program: Join a cohort of 30 peers for focused training on the critical stages of early-stage business development.
5-Month Tunga Academy Mentorship: Benefit from dedicated 1-on-1 career and entrepreneurial guidance to solidify your professional direction and future business strategy.

Outcomes: You will complete a comprehensive business model, conduct customer validation interviews, and exit the program with a ready-to-execute plan for your successful tech venture. (Application Deadline: November 30th)
