Building a tech startup takes more than just an idea – it demands entrepreneurial skills, real-world experience, and the right guidance. The TechWings Africa Program equips ambitious tech professionals with the tools to thrive: learning what it truly takes to be an entrepreneur, testing and growing ideas into real startups, gaining hands-on experience inside fast-growing companies, and building a powerful network of mentors, peers, and partners across Africa.
This track is for the elite, ready-to-launch tech professional who has a strong, validated idea and is committed to turning it into a registered business now.
Duration: 5 Months of intensive, outcome-driven venture support (starting after a 1-week launch Bootcamp).
Outcomes: You will launch a registered, revenue-generating early-stage startup and become a founder contributing to job creation in the African tech ecosystem. (Application Deadline: November 30th)
Designed for the ambitious tech professional with a strong entrepreneurial mindset who needs a structured path to develop, validate, and plan their future venture idea.
Duration: 1 Month of focused training, followed by 5 Months of personalized career and entrepreneurial mentorship.
Outcomes: You will complete a comprehensive business model, conduct customer validation interviews, and exit the program with a ready-to-execute plan for your successful tech venture. (Application Deadline: November 30th)

The Build Now Track is for tech professionals who already have a validated startup idea and are ready to launch and register their business.
The Future Founders Track is designed for professionals who are still shaping their ideas and want to prepare for launch through mentorship, structured training, and real-world entrepreneurial experience.
In short: Build Now = Launch your startup. Future Founders = Prepare for launch.
The program is open to ambitious tech professionals based in Uganda and Kenya who are passionate about entrepreneurship and innovation. Whether you’re a software developer, designer, data specialist, or tech enthusiast with a strong idea, there’s a track tailored to your stage of readiness.
Expect a transformative, hands-on learning experience combining practical entrepreneurship training, mentorship, and access to Africa’s leading startup ecosystem. Participants will gain business and leadership skills, build networks with peers and investors, and leave the program ready to launch or scale their ventures.
Participation in the TechWings Africa Program is fully sponsored for selected applicants. However, spots are limited and competitive, so applicants are encouraged to demonstrate genuine commitment and readiness during the selection process.
Participants receive personalized mentorship, access to expert coaches, and hands-on guidance from experienced founders and investors. You’ll also join a community of peers across Uganda and Kenya for collaboration, feedback, and networking opportunities.
